it’s all about my precious pup, August- aka Auggie!
(and the crowd goes wild)
Auggie has been a part of many photo shoots before, but this is his first big feature!
For those of you who haven’t met Auggie yet, here’s a little introduction:
Auggie is about 4 years old, and was adopted by my boyfriend, Bryan, 3.5 years ago while he was living in Virginia. He was volunteering at the local animal shelter at the time, and it was love at first sight! So yes, technically he is Bryan’s dog, buuuuut I still claim to be his dog-mama!
People ask all the time what kind of breed Auggie is, and I always say, “He’s the best breed- A Certified Good Boy!” We’re actually not completely sure what breeds Auggie is made up of, but we did use this genetics test and found that he’s part Great Pyrenees. Auggie was rescued from an animal hoarding case when he was just a baby, and lived in two different shelters before he found his way to us.
I could write a whole separate blog post about why I believe pet rescue and adoption are so important. If you’re a big dog lover, then I’m sure you get it! For this post, however, I’m going to let Auggie have the floor and tell you about some of his all-time favorite products. These items have been tested and approved by his high standards (lol- but really).
